This skinny yarn is a stainless-steel and tram silk yarn. It has a lovely sheen to it from the tram silk, and a soft heathered look from the stainless-steel yarn. You can use it to add texture to your weaving. Currently available in 4 colors on ½ oz cones. Each cone has approximately 775 yards, 24,800 yards per pound Pair it with other silk yarns to both reduce the % of stainless and increase the yards per pound. Pairs well with 20/2 cotton as well. Stainless steel adds a springiness (memory) to the yarn so when it is stretched out it will tend to return to its original shape. Fabrics made from stainless steel yarns have an ability to be shapeable. Keep the pleats or flatten them out. Make collars that stand up or lay down.
