Herbal Syrup G.C.M. Herbal syrup that dissolves mucus immediately soothes an irritated throat. Adhatoda vasica or Vasaka dissolves mucus and relieves irritation and spasms in the bronchial tubes. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is known for its expectorant and antiseptic effects. Another herbal ingredient is holy basil (Ocimum sanctum), which has been used in India for centuries as a common cough remedy, among other things. Holy basil strengthens immunity, counteracts stress, promotes vitality and gives energy. The syrup also contains Emblica officinalis (Amalaki, Emblica officanilis), known for its cardiotonic, expectorant and antioxidant effects. Dosage Take two teaspoons two to three times a day. For children aged six years and older, one teaspoon twice a day is sufficient.
