With the Flytech, PINASCO presents a variable Ignition as an alternative to VESPATRONIC, PARMAKIT and similar systems. The fixed ignition curve supports engine performance across the entire speed range. The Ignition delivers 12 V/90 W and is particularly suitable for standard and touring engines up to approx. 20 hp. This makes the Ignition a well thought-out solution for classic Vespa Engines that require a reliable, electronic 12 V ignition with touring-compatible tuning. The Flywheel is the central component of the Flytech. The deliberately wide magnets are secured all around by a steel ring, making it virtually impossible for them to come loose or fall out. The magnets are also better protected against damage in the event of a broken crankshaft stub. Although the total weight of the Flywheel is around 1.4 to 1.8 kg, depending on the version, and is therefore comparable with VESPATRONIC or PARMAKIT, it has a higher inertia. The flywheel mass sits further out on the Flywheel due to the shrunk-on, wide steel ring. This prevents the Engine from revving up too quickly and is particularly well suited to high-torque touring setups. The Fanwheel is made of nylon and has an optimized blade design. This achieves a 20 % higher airflow, which improves Engine cooling.
